The uniquely gentle and effective approach of laser remodeling takes anti-aging technology to a new level – a revolutionary way to tighten skin without the down time and expense of surgery. The treatment requires no injections and leaves no lingering redness or tenderness. The laser light pulse stimulates the growth of collagen fibroblasts deep in the dermis. As these little collagen factories come to life and begin to reproduce, your skin will rebuild from the inside. The result is younger looking skin and an almost “mini face-lift.” You will begin to notice smoother, younger looking skin immediately; full effects of the treatment are seen in three months. Best results require 3-5 treatments, 4 weeks apart.
BBL™, patented and FDA-approved technology, utilizes infrared energy to deeply heat dermal collagen. This process promotes partial denaturation and contraction of collagen. The heat also initiates the body’s natural healing process, which creates a renewed collagen foundation leading to increased skin firmness. Powerful cooling maintains the outer surface of your skin at a cool temperature before, during, and after each pulse providing the patient a comfortable and safe procedure.
Broad Band Light (BBL) Can Stimulate Collagen For Firmer Skin:
What is SkinTyte?
The SkinTyte treatment is based on the principle of selective thermolysis and utilizes pulsed light technology to deeply heat your skin while cooling and protecting the entire treated surface. SkinTyte can be provided quickly and comfortably with no downtime. The end result is a more youthful appearance.
How does SkinTyte work?
The SkinTyte procedure utilizes infrared energy to deeply heat dermal collagen.
You will be sensitive to ultra-violet light and you must avoid direct sun exposure until fully healed. A full spectrum sunblock, preferably with zinc oxide, should be used whenever exposed to UV rays or outside.
Questions & Answers
What is the treatment like?
The SkinTyte light energy is delivered in a sequence of rapid, gentle pulses. There is no need for a topical anesthetic. A series of pulses will be repeated over the treatment area to ensure best results. While the face and neck can typically be treated within 30 minutes, actual time will depend on the area treated.
What should I expect after treatment?
You may experience some mild redness in the treated area, although most clients notice little to no redness and more of a sunburn sensation immediately after treatment, possibly continuing into the next day. Because the SkinTyte procedure is non-invasive, there is no downtime so you can resume regular activities immediately following treatment. You can also apply makeup and sunscreen after each session.
What results should I expect?
The SkinTyte procedure is not a substitute for a face-lift and results may vary from patient to patient. The SkinTyte procedure is recommended for patients who desire moderate, noticeable skin improvement without having to undergo surgery. Full results often take up to four months as the collagen foundation of your skin is rebuilt and strengthened.
What areas can be treated?
SkinTyte treatments are safe for all skin types and can be performed on any area of the body where an improvement in your skin firmness is desired. Popular areas include the face, neck, abdomen, and arms. You should consult with your technician regarding the treatment options that are best for you.
How many treatments will I need?
A series of two to four treatments spaced a month apart is typical of most patients. Your provider will personalize a treatment plan based on the level of improvement you desire.
What aftercare do I need?
No special skincare regimen is required following treatment. However, you should always protect your skin from direct sun exposure and use a good sunscreen. Your technician can also recommend an at home skin care regimen to promote results and to better maintain results.
